The Greater Orlando Orchid Society, Inc. was founded in 1995.

We are nonprofit and a chartered affiliate of the American Orchid Society.

Our main purpose is to promote interest in orchids and their cultivation, to educate by exchanging information and experiences related to successful orchid culture. We encourage anyone interested to attend one of our meetings as a guest and if you would like to join the dues are $20 for a single member and $30 for a joint membership of two people. We are a very friendly society and we will be glad to have you join us. 

Meetings

We meet on the 3rd. Tuesday of the month from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, at the Beardall Center, 800 Delaney Avenue, Orlando FL 32801 which is at the corner of Gore and Delaney Avenue. 

Our meetings include a raffle table (six tickets for $5.00), which is a great way to get orchids at a great price, a pot-luck dinner, and a lecture or discussion about some aspect of orchid culture. Members are also encouraged to bring along some of their plants in bloom and give a brief talk about them.
